Which one to choose between Optum and Tiger Analytics for Data Scientist position? Where can I expect better data science domain expertise (In my previous companies I found very less understanding of Data Science practices as team)? Heared good things about both of these. Also hearing Tiger is expanding rapidly and getting some crap projects as well in the name of data science. Could someone put light on these things?

I have a couple of questions for ZS fishes-
1. Is it possible to turn down a promotion at ZS? I'm currently happy with my responsibilities as a Decision Analytics Consultant and don't want any added responsibilities in the near future (next 5 years)
2. Is it possible to shape up a career path in the BC stream which doesn't involve business development? I don't want to get into working on SOWs and RFPs.

Series D startup is usually almost as good as a small public company.
Do it for the money if:
- it is material to you.
Without knowing anything else whatsoever, I’d vote for doing it, but not for the money. It would be for the experience.
Thank you. I like money .

No equity?
If you are interested in TC mainly, then obviously the answer is yes. But, you want to look at what you're doing if you're thinking long term (even in terms of TC). If it's more interesting work/company, you'll position yourself better for the future. If it feels like you won't grow there past a certain cap, it's still probably worth the money to you, but it's not a lasting growth strategy, if that makes sense.
Eh, I don't about this one. Do you feel good about the startup's product/service? Does it have legs? It's going to be hard to justify a truly nothing company if you had a great position at a large bank. But - if you have faith in it, you can get the money and the name down the line. Make sure you get equity if you make the move.
