Hey all. Just joined EY this month and got told by manager that they are tracking our days in the office. Any idea how they’re doing this? I’m in 25cp. Doesn’t really affect me knowing how but I’m curious and would be nice to know what they’re tracking :) I assume it’s just ID swipes but wanted to check maybe they track your WiFi connection to the office etc. thanks!

Hey all, I’ve recently joined EY consulting from another Big 4 and have noticed there’s no discipline (at least in my team) around codes and charging time. People either charge a standard 7 hrs or some will charge time spent on internal activities to their client code.

I was told that “the last person to charge their actual hours worked was promptly booted off the project”.
Just wondering:
1) Is this a general cultural point accross all Consulting teams? Will challengin this get me in trouble?

Received the offer from EY for M role, on call and email on Wednesday and also received a mail from the partner about it. Told them I will be accepting the offer. Had another offer & already received their contract , now I don't want to say no to the other firm before I sign the contract with EY. Which I am being told will only be ready next week.
