I was on a tour but where I asked a couple of older women sitting behind me to speak softly as it was 6:30 am in the morning. Can we in the U.S. legitimately realize a tax loss by selling BTC at a loss and immediately re-buying it? Looks like this is possible because BTC is considered property rather than a security so it is not subject to the 30-day wash-sale rule. I am an experienced hire. My case might just take you by surprise. I joined EY GDS 10 months back at 40% hike (leaving PwC) and now Deloitte (DIJV) is offering me 2 level up designation at Manager level with another 40% hike. This has effectively doubled my salary in the last one year bt still I am confused to switch or not considering the amazing bonuses GDS payed off today. Please suggest.
