Apart from my emergency fund in FD, I currently have around ₹30L surplus cash that I want to invest.
Given that the market is near all-time highs, I’ve started cautiously with an HDFC Nifty 50 Index Fund and don’t want to deploy everything at once.
Wanted your advice on:

Where’s the best place to park free cash short-term? (liquid / overnight funds?)

Does it make sense to park money in liquid funds and STP into equity MFs gradually?

Any good MF suggestions for someone relatively

Let me know what would be better.

From interview perspective, I enjoyed lucidworks interview as the interviews taken by quality people compared to other two companies. But it is a startup.

Btw, I have been interviewed for 6 rounds in Citrix and waiting to hear from them.
