Hey Folks. I’m considering joining Merrill Lynch and leaving my Fidelity advisory role. I hear the start up program is a good way to go to build your book/practice at Merrill. I currently work in a relationship management and planning role at Fidelity supporting advisors books. Can anyone speak to their experience in the FA development program? How is it working at Merrill? If you have previous Fidelity experience as well would love to hear your perspective.

I got offered a position as a Wealth Management Banking Specialist and was offered $75,000 base pay with a 5% increase after a year. I am working on 8 years experience in the industry, investment licenses, and a bachelor’s degree in financial planning. I feel like this is low. Any thoughts?
