What would be the pay for a grade 11 job at S&P?
Hi ,I have been interviewed and selected in S&P Global .salary almost negotiated and waiting for the offer letter to release. But seems like they are not willing to release the offer because of my 90 np . They are asking to join by 60 days but initially I told them my NP is 90. Even I am ready to take the 60 days offer but now they are not releasing offer as they want assurance. Now they are not picking calls.seems like i will loose the offer. Is there anything can be done.

While I didn’t watch the segment, I tried twice to have my student loan forgiven. I met all of the criteria, Title one school, Taught Special Ed for the required number of years, Principal sign off, the works. Apparently the reason I was denied- My school had 26% free and reduced lunch- I needed 30%. Thousands of dollars that I had to pay came down to 4% on some list that my school was not on. That was ten years ago. I have since paid off the loans, but my school makes that 30% now.
Public service should be the criteria in my opinion
I didn’t watch but I’ve had mine returned/denied twice
I recommend getting your payments checked annually-to be sure you are on the right track. If you fill out the form for the program, they will tell you how many payments you have toward your 120 payments. All the forms are online. I wouldn’t wait until you’re at 10 years to find out if you are on track. Good luck.
I had worked on getting my loans forgiven soon after I got my degree. I wasn’t told about 120 payments, that I can recall. I just know the t other teachers also applied for the same throng and were denied or the same reason, not enough free and reduced lunch students. Appeal let didn’t work either.
And those victimized who were on the panel were said to be legal scholars who could not hurdle, nor understand, all the legal barriers.

I am in the program and have 2 1/2 years to go before I can apply. No one ever told me about the Loan Forgiveness Program. I just happen to run across it myself. I am almost 64 years old. I will be 66 1/2 years old when I can apply. If they deny me I don't know what I'll do. I started college late in life and completed my Master's after beginning my teaching career. There is no way I can pay off my loans. I've been teaching 19 years and I have to retire in 2 1/2 years. I sure hope they don't deny me!!!
How do you start the paper work for loan forgiveness?

Ummmm, aren’t there public servant loan forgiveness loans?
It seems the red tape is all twisted to make it difficult to get approved. I am doing automatic payments to assure not to miss any payments. It is no mistake that a penny less is dropped off the payment. This creates a lack of correct payments made on time. This is a joke on teachers or veterans or other public workers.
I’ve been denied 3 times and I have worked over 10 years as a teacher and 🤷🏽♀️
There are very specific rules on what type of loan, income driven payments, etc. That is why everyone considering PSLF should file annually to check to make sure they qualify. I’ve been in the program just over 5 years, and I have 62 payments in. I have been working In the public sector much longer. Unfortunately for many years I wasn’t making the right type of payment.
It shouldn’t be this hard, but there are ways to check along the way.
Those on the 60 Minutes panel shared that they followed “all the rules and payments” and are now facing obstacles.
I was denied many years ago.
Just had mine forgiven in 2019. Process was simple application but it did take about 6 months for the approval . They put me on forbearance during that time so I didn't have to pay. I don't know that the 9/10 rate is for the teacher forgiveness loans as well as public service- different programs!! Good luck! Getting the notification that mine were forgiven was a huge weight off!!!
