Hey! I would like to move to Switzerland and work as a Software Engineer but most of the Jobs I found require to speak either French or German.

I am fluent in Spanish and English. Any idea where I can find jobs that dont have this language barrier?

Thanks!!

Try to go for large international companies like nestle, ubs, roche, novartis, google, etc. it should be easier there. Most places will still require some level of the local language though

IBM

Try ticino, as Spanish native it is typically easier to fit in and most Spanish speakers pick up Italian quickly. There are a number of jobs in companies developing software. Lugano is currently trying to become a FinTech Hotspot so there should be a need for someone with your IT skills.

Been with my GF since college and we recently hit the 4 year mark. 1-2 years into our relationship I found out she had instances of micro-cheating (flirting with guys, talking to ex’s etc - but nothing physical) and we addressed it. To her credit and my knowledge, she’s been apologetic and great at respecting boundaries since, but I still feel the pain from her actions years ago (and have talked to her about it). Feeling lost about whether to just leave or to try and work things out

Hi everyone! I’m a master’s student in Switzerland, and I’m currently abroad interning at Deloitte AKA working 14h a day for no pay 🙃 just to get a job back in Switzerland
I currently have a couple of “almost” job offers, and I’m going back soon and meeting the employers to talk about logistics including work permit.

Are there non-Europeans here that have gone through the work permit process in Switzerland that can answer a couple of questions?

I would really appreciate it.

Hello
I was hired by a SaaS company for 95,000 Fr as a Senior Full Stack Developer. I have 9 years of experience and I worked in multiple startups and technologies. I also have relatively better experience in NodeJS, React, SQL, Elasticsearch.
I wouldn't say I am great at solving coding challenges but I believe with some practice I can get better.
Do you think I can get a better salary with my situation? (Swiss Wage calculator estimates 8500+ Fr. per month for Zurich area).
