Currently I am working in mid-size mnc, there is bond of 2 year, Here I have 3.5ctc. 1year about to complete soon. I want to ask can i counter offer during bond period. In 3.5lpa i can't save money, currently doing WFO.

I am a post bar graduate and currently seeking employment. I did not graduate from a top tier school, but I did graduate in the top third of my class as a dual-degree graduate. About a week ago, a partner at a big law firm connected with me on LinkedIn. He asked if I had a job lined up. I told him no and he responded that I should let him know if there is anything his firm or he can do to help me. We have a meeting with each other in two weeks. Is this a big law opportunity?

5th year here supervising two 4th year associates. 4yr wrote an email to me and associate, which I thought was helpful outlining some issues in prep for trial in the case. I looped in partner and added on my comments. Messaged associate separately and said hope she didn’t mind I shared. She flipped out on me and said she didn’t want it shared, that partner didn’t like these kind of emails, and that I had taken on work she thought she was responsible for. Tone was toxic. I joined a bank as a business analyst 2 months back. I’m feeling that it’s more of a stagnant task for me though learning is there still i was much more happy with development. Now idk what to do because it’s 2 months, most companies i cannot apply before 6 months or a year maybe!

What shall i do? How to cope up with it? It’s difficult. YoE- 2 yrs and 4 months.

I have given my interview in HCL and cleared 1 TP, 1 hcl manager & Client TP and Client Manager rounds .
In initial screening HR told the generic statement of 30-40% and I have given my ask as 50% minimum. After clearing the rounds I heard from the project team that Client has given great feedback and wanted to take me in .
What is the % I can ask in HR Discussion and will they reject in HR if I ask more now .
I have 9.5 years total experience and role is Storage Architect.

Dear long term staying managers in same company, plz switch jobs or do not have ego for ur juniors asking more than ur CTC.. HCL Technologies the technical manager having 14yrs exp in HCL declined my offerred CTC due to his ego of having low CTC. Note the HR herself offered me that CTC, I didn't even negotiate.
