Hi all! I have been slammed and traveling a lot for work these last few weeks and my husband has been amazing through all of it. We just celebrated his birthday and I gave him a big gift, but I’d like to get him something nice to show my appreciation for these last few weeks too. Think the male equivalent of flowers. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Outside of the bedroom, an easy way to show my hubby I am thinking of and appreciate him in the $150 range is a new pair of shoes. That guy doesn't say no to Nike (but is a huge sneaker head). I'd just get something you know is within his interests.

Is there a snack or treat he likes? For my husband it is chocolate chip cookies (homemade if I have time)

Could you send him off for a relaxing activity he likes? I book an hour at the virtual golf place near us or get him a nice cigar to go enjoy.

Baked by Melissa cupcakes. My husband loves them! I am going to be gone for 2 weeks for trial and he’ll be flying solo with our 15 month old so cupcakes scheduled for delivery halfway through. I’ve also done See’s Chocolates and baking biscuits which he loves.

Def support all the other suggestions too - especially massage!

F!

I usually cook a nice meal. Fancy steak or crab cakes. Something that takes thought and effort to show my appreciation

Anyone willing to share how much they are making as an Mri technologist in Chicago? I know downtown pays better then suburbs. I work in one of the big university hospitals and make 40 per hour. I have masters and 6 years of experience. I recently learned that a new grad who doesnt have his state boards yet has 39 per hour. A coworker experience of 20 years gets 50per hour. Not sure what to think of their weird pay scale. 🙂
