Why do so many people need sponsorship? Most people I speak to in tech (data) require some sort of sponsorship. Just curious why this is.

Has anyone ever left finance (or know someone that has) to do something completely different? My experience is split between FP&A and accounting and while I have progressed, I am becoming depressed b/c I feel like I’m in the wrong field. I am generally a motivated, high performing person, but I al starting to slip up and care less, b/c my work is not satisfying to me. I know I just sound like a complainer, but does anyone have any advice?

How do you respond to a super close friend who says they're not making masks mandatory at their June wedding (about 150 guests) because they want to have fun. To be fair, most people are vaccinated but not everyone os going to be vaccinated. I haven't been to any large gatherings in pver a year and even though im vaccinated, i don't think this is safe. Is there an online marketplace for SquareSpace portfolio templates, i.e., a place where you can buy a template, download it, then build it yourself? Alternatively, is there a place where I can hire someone to recommend a SquareSpace template, gussy up said template with type and/or color tweaks to make it less template-y (no functionality changes needed), and then design a simple logo? Looked at Squarespace Experts but seems a bit intense for what I need. Google isn't giving me much.

I’m about to give my notice at a firm I’ve been at for the majority of my legal career. They’ve recently offered me non-equity partnership (which I’ve accepted), w equity partnership on the horizon. We have UAN and it looks like not activated.
How can we transfer PF amount from DXC to EPFO portal?

I have a friend who was let go a few months into his first job after college (reason: the manager felt like he wasn't grasping the training content to the level that was expected). He's worried about if he should put the experience on his resume anyway, if he does will recruiters ask why he had such a short time at this place, and what will recruiters think if he explains he was let go.
