So, I am a high performer and had to cover for two very senior roles for many months due to quick high turnover. We already had our talks. I found it funny when I was told, “oh and by the way… as you can see we increased your bonus to thank you for covering for so and so.” $500 increase………. Am I silly to think this “thank you” increase is a joke? No salary increase and only $500 thank you for covering for two additional jobs. Am I unreasonable to think the work I covered for wasn’t appreciated?
Senior Tax Associate. 2.5 YOE. Small public firm. Cost of living in my area is 110% the US average. What is salary expectation? My base right now is 87k. Bonus approx. 10-11k per year. Is that fair, high, low?

I ended up with a US based HR tech firm, Architect: 230K CAD 15% bonus stock options. Hope this helps!
Assuming roles are the same, Is 115k offer with 70K equity better or 125k, no equity, with 16% bonus, a good offer for someone 2.5 years out of college? Should I have negotiated more? COL: NYC
Is a 10% pay bump with 10k signing bonus a reasonable ask for a lateral move to D ? I have almost 3 years exp and will be working in data analytics
Any info on salary fo Google L5 Customer Onboarding manager role SF / NY? Breakdown of base + bonus + stocks?
Just received a formal offer from Deloitte Consulting as a SC in Strategy & Analytics. Base is $125K, no sign-on bonus. This isn’t much of an increase from what I’m making now. Haven’t reached out to negotiate yet and the recruiter has been pretty quick on the phone so far. I’m coming from a smaller firm, 8 YOE, mainly data analytics and cloud. Any insight or tips how to navigate for increased base?
Help: Microsoft federal reached out for a Senior Consultant TS clearance role. Recruiter mentioned 160k+stocks+bonus. What TC have you seen - is this all smoke?. Any tip for interview. 6 YOE.
I just had the HR discussion at Accenture and they are giving me 5% of basic salary as joining bonus. Should I ask for more?
My base as of Counsel is $350k, no bonus for 1900 hours at Amlaw 100. Can I make more in midlaw?
Need help deciding between two offers: Fortune 500 with 235K TC (200K +35K annual bonus) in Atlanta or pre IPO company with 350K TC (180K base +170K RSUs) in NYC. Both are similar strategy/bizops roles in same industry. How do I evaluate cash vs rsu?
Gotta love losing a referral bonus because the person didn’t show up their first day & decided not to quit their old job 🤯
Offer evaluation Major healthcare player Director Analytics Base: 240 Bonus: 48k target (can be higher based on perf) Equity: 40k annual Sign on: 75k MBB, 10 yoe Side note: super interesting role for me. See it as the future skill set to covet (corp strategy is a little played out)
If you got hired at the absolute bottom of the payband, I gave my salary expectations which was unknowingly less than my offer a few months back, is it possible to renegotiate a raise to at least the middle of the payband, come the performance review, raises, and bonus meeting, especially given inflation? In addition my firm’s new base payband for my position as an external higher is posted at 31% higher than my current salary.
Currently really enjoy the company I am working and although recently had a comp adjustment, salary is at mid 140k; but got another offer from a much much smaller consulting company for 175k current role: architect new role: manager, data management Bonus is relatively the same, although I suspect benefits are less. Thoughts on what I should do; should I take the opportunity; should I speak to my manager? Is so how do I bring that up when less than a week ago I said it’s good!
Does PWC provide a promotion bonus when you make Tax Senior? If so, what is the normal compensation and promotion cycle timeline?
Leave current role for $50k more in base and even better bonus? Happy with my current WLB but so many companies are throwing me messages about jobs that pay $50k more base than I currently make. I just don’t want to go somewhere and work 50+ hours a week. Currently my average in FP&A is 45 a week.

How many first year analysts here started as interns? What did you guys do to get those jobs?
How does everyone feel about their spouse staying home and not working? I find it that the older generations subscribe to that lifestyle more than the younger ones. Just trying to confirm.
MBB folks, what is the length of a typical engagement at the associate level? Intern level? Have you ever been on an engagement for over a year? Unfamiliar with MBB consulting so forgive my ignorance
