Hi All,

If I am joining as a lateral in SCB GBS under Band 7. After how many years I can expect promotion or hike.

Companies like TCS has 2 years waiting period for hike/promotion , likewise does SCB has any restrictions ?

Currently I holding an offer for band 7 with 6.5 Yoe java + spring with CTC of 20 lpa. It would be great if you could Suggest so that I can negotiate with HR based on this.

It all depends on your performance but in general in most of the companies initial 2years there wont be much hikes for laterals and promotion also will be highly unlikely in 2years. Here in scb also u wont be getting any hike in 1st year. And 2nd year depends on performance and team. From past 2years there is no hike for 90% of the people here. So dont keep any high expectations

I don’t understand how someone can lie about loving you for 6 months. We were together for almost a year (broke up a week before our anniversary). I said I love you first and he said it back. I asked for more reassurance last month with saying I love you more often. Now all of a sudden he said he didn’t know if he loved me and that love meant marriage for him. Okay well great thanks for telling me this now, 6 months after it was initially exchanged. I don’t understand how he could do that.
