Did not get a proper update or feedback from them or the manager who scheduled it either.. suddenly received a msg from Rm asking resume and saying client has rejected.. So no proper update on status whether I’m benched cuz in TS it displays RIW and in worst case what will happen if I’m not able to get a project allocated.. could any peers clarify. Tq in advanc

I went on a “date” recently. I paid for the tab as they were going to the bathroom. As we were leaving they said “thanks for lunch” — I was hoping they’d at least ask to Venmo me half as a kind gesture. Following lunch we grabbed dessert. I was hoping they’d offer to cover dessert since I covered lunch but it didn’t happen.

I’ve been working at a rather prestigious midsized firm in a big city for almost a year and a half now. I have been having a lot of trouble picking up work from senior partners. We are required to bill at least 150 hours per month to meet our requirement. My months are typically only 110-130 hours. It seems like the senior partners already have their “go to” associate for things. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can increase my workload? I reach out for work pretty much weekly.
