I have asked the same question during the induction, they said they want to expand further in software side. They want to provide software services to others just like Accenture, TCS but at the same time they dont want to categorize themselves as a service based company.
What is the office locatiom of etas in bangalore?
recently they are paying whatever you ask them so ..may be yes
Have you received this much i.e15 to 16 ?
See i will tell u the point.
There is a heck of organisational change being done here at bosch. And literally saying i don't know why,
Since i have joined Bosch i.e. 3 yrs before, lot of changes have been implemented.
This is not at all good for a Stable organisation.
It shows inconsistency in revenue generation as well as mismanagement issues internally within RBEI.
At RBEI we are mostly bound to act how our counterparts wants us to act i.e. Bosch gmbh. We are mostly waiting for their approval on management decisions. Even though a project is completely lead by rbei india team the funding would come from bosch gmbh.
So basically this company is a cheap labour workforce for Bosch gmbh.
Considering the recent name change, I would say that yes they have started to maintain their level by paying more but it is still low than Automotive industry standards.
Companies like Electrobit, KPIT, Continental, APTIV, VISTEON are paying far better.
Also one of the other key focus of this name change is that Bosch now wants to be treated as general software developing IT company like any other company and not only as a company that develops automotive softwares.
This is a time taking step, and Bosch will develop its competency as a normal IT company with time.
Anyhow they would need experienced engineer with good domain knowledge which means they will have to end up paying more.
Thank you for the detailed view. So I have an offer from Bosch and an unicorn product based company. Both are offering same package. Which one would you prefer to join ? Department assigned in Bosch is MS / EMT XC , will there be learning curve in this dept ? Please share your insights.
There are 150+ departments in Bosch. So if you ask a boschler, it would be very tough for him/her to give details on a random dept.
However, you can check with your hiring manager for the nature of work and if possible, you can connect with team mates on Linkedin.
To my knowledge, EMT works on Autosar and its related topics.
