I’m convinced that the reason some of these firms are so prestigious is because they have intentionally exclusionary recruitment practices. I used to believe that you had to already be rich to get hired at MBB. Now being on the other side of the recruitment process , I really do feel that it rings true. I hate the way we evaluate candidates and decide on who is “high priority” during coffee chats.

HR is not ready to share the exact budget they have (weird!! because HR usually give the idea of how much they can offer )

HR is asking me to expect something on top of the current offer I am holding.

I worked for x company for 2 yrs and switched to y company in feb 2022. But recently i faced a situation. I have an offer in hand by value labs and Accenture and I’m more leaning towards valuelabs. However, I’ve seen a lot of comment online which were made in 2022 and before as well that the job security is an issue in value labs and they will fire a chunk without any prior notice.
