I have a total of 4 years and 10 months of experience having worked in Deloitte on SAP. My core background is MBA Finance, I did a switch to join a shitty MSME company as they offered FPNA role which is my core and what I liked doing but the work culture was toxic as hell and lead was literally mentally harassing so I quit this month.

Now I am without a job not knowing what to do. Please help

If you didn't go to college, how did you learn what you know now in marketing?

Desperately want to get into healthcare strategy consulting. 13 years of healthcare clinical experience including project work. MBA. But keep getting told by recruiters that I don't have enough experience to be a Consultant or Manager but that I have too much experience to enter in every level such as a Senior Associate. Just one rejection after another, even when applying with internal referrals from Director or Partner levels. What am I doing wrong?

Looking to switch careers in several months. Prepping myself for a career pivot from finance to PM.

I'm finishing up a Google Certificate in project management and getting certified as a CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner), and pairing them with a couple of personal projects as well as updating my resume and Linkedin to focus my job experiences around PM.

Anyone have any other tips or advice on how to ensure I'm prepping myself effectively to transition into a PM career path? Thanks!

Has anyone on here moved from IB to management consulting as an experienced hire? How do you view the decision in retrospect?

So I used to work for a company where my job was good, was a director of business solutions for a fashion brand. Only issue was that the CFO micromanaged and ended up leaving. My background is digital transformation however I took an infrastructure position to rebuild a provincial healthcare system. I always lacked the hardware side and thought this was a good move but I feel like I’m losing my digital skills and don’t enjoy the work. I’m in it for 7 months now.

What do you wish you knew before moving to Australia or NZ? Seriously considering applying for an internal transfer but I'd like to know what I'm getting into first. Researching as well just asking for first hand experiences from consultants who have done it.

Considering having a hands an experience on 4-5 Projects with Internship Certificates, Is it possible to get an opportunity directly into a Data Scientist Role(NLP/ML)?

I’ve been an engineer for my entire career (10 years), and I’m curious about what a move to product management would be like. I’m getting messages from recruiters for Sr. Corporate Paralegal roles but all of my experience is in litigation. I have 6 years experience as a paralegal. Should I move forward with this? Not sure if I’m qualified.

Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.

Thoughts on getting CFP when done with CPA (1 test left) and pivoting from audit to personal financial planning? Estates, taxes, savings, etc. Or should I just stick the OG plan and go into industry FP&A when I make senior/CPA?

On the verge of leaving law but getting cold feet. Could someone talk with me? I feel like it’s just a matter of not getting good mentorship but I’m concerned my feelings might not change elsewhere. I just don’t know. I wish I could just have a mentor and guidance

I have recovered from Corona Virus. Its 6 weeks now and I can tell you that the after effects are real. I have anxiety that I will never get over the fatigue, brain fog, inability to form sentences and words and headaches which make my work days very difficult to get thru.
