I have over 10 years of experience in the animation industry, but due to a recent downturn caused by the recession, I decided to upskill and completed a UX/UI design course. Currently, I am working as a Content Creator and UX/UI Designer at a company in Kolkata for less than a year. I have been involved in designing mobile and web interfaces improving user flows and collaborating closely with devolopers and product team .I am looking for new opportunity.

How long does it take to adjudicate a closer investigation for secret clearance?

Wife found out today that the Schedule A fed position she was hired into (and has been doing for year) was misappropriated to her because she didn’t meet the certs on USA Jobs and her permanent position is now a temporary one that will end in 10 months…..I’m flabbergasted and disgusted by the hiring agency, any know of resources (legal or otherwise) for fed employees in the weird situation?

Do you think it’s bad form/ unprofessional to flip badges when a contract is lost? I’m not sure if it’s just leadership bullying, but they’re discouraging staff to take other offers from the winning company.
