I was laid off after 3 years as a backend eng. Took time to upskill, built full-stack projects, started applying Dec 2025. Got multiple calls

I've cleared technical rounds for some startups but get rejectd after HR salary discustn. When I follow up, they say "interview wasn't strong."

Previous CTC: ₹19.5L | Expected: ₹22-24L

Qstn:
1. Is ₹22-24L too high for 3 yrs exp?
2. Should I lower to ₹18-20L?
3. Any red flags in my approach?

It's been a year. Appreciate honest feedback.

Now I'm in a client location, My manager is a good person but he told me, I should report to Lead.

Lead is a psycho. He shows hell to the team members including me.

I currently make 78k at Lockheed but I’m not doing what I’d like to be doing and i felt stuck and after many conversations with my manager and no solution in sight, I started applying elsewhere. I just recently got an offer from a smaller AI company for 95k that I plan to accept. I’m happy to make the jump, I just don’t know how my manager/coworkers will react when I tell them I’m leaving.

What should a coder/biller/transcriptionist make with over 15 years of experience? I am currently the only person in the office that can do those jobs with no backup. I code and bill all office visits for 5 orthopedic providers and all surgical coding/billing for 3 surgeons. I also do any transcription that is needed.
