Salary check. I am currently an in house attorney. 12 YOE. Large company with great coworkers doing regulatory work for the insurance industry. Good work life balance. I live in a high COL city. Out of curiosity and to test the market, I interviewed at a FAANG. Did not get the job, but found out TC was 350k, significantly higher than my TC 230k. I've been working out since early 2020 6x/ week and lost ~30lbs. However, I didn't adjust my eating -only switched to an intermittent fasting schedule (eat between 12-8pm). Now, I'm trying to focus on better eating. I struggle with sweets - If it's around me, I need it all lol and Uber eats is a weakness bc of all the dessert places! My meals are relatively balanced so not a major issue...

I've heard of intuitive eating but sounds a bit fluffy (lol) - other tips? What has worked for you? Help!!

Like a lot of people, I’m thinking about going back to school for an MBA. I don’t have the money or time to dedicate to a top tier school, so I’ve been looking at WGU’s MBA in IT Management. It’s accredited. Time and cost-efficient.

My primary concern is not prestige or the connections from school like some others I’ve heard. I just want to know if I went this route, would I still be able to check that MBA box and open the door for higher starting salary if I made a jump?

Is it true that being an intern is the second best position next to being a partner at a Big 4? I was told by someone who used to work at Deloitte before WFH was largely a thing, interns would get treated really well and they have all sorts of intern parties and happy hour gatherings that not even some staff employees get invited to. A lot of crazy drunk and hook up stories as well. How true is this picture?

What kind of background verification does deloitte do while onbarding a experienced candidate?

Persistent conducts interviews just for timepass. After clearing all rounds they don't offer. Aspiring candidate dont attend interviews.
