I had a question regarding the selection process. I had initially applied for a position in their workday website. I have cleared the first round , after 1-2 weeks Diageo called and said I am shortlisted for the 2nd and final round which will be face to face in BLR.

I wanted to know this F2F round, how much of it is formality or will or be a drilling round ??

Because they wanted to see the candidate and have a discussion as the role requires client or stakeholder facing situation.

Like seriously, how is one able to comfortably support themselves in the Bay Area on these new Analyst level salaries at Deloitte? It's not like we're doing anything different than Consultants and most Senior Consultants. TBH it's kind of insulting, and makes me want to get a second job for me to earn enough to live comfortably and save for retirement.

Visiting New York next week and have a reservation at the sushi counter for lunch at Nakasawa. How rude will it be if I started working at the counter? I’m doing everything in my power to close a deal the day before but it ain’t looking good…
Normally, I wouldn’t have issues working in a restaurant, but I feel like in this setting it may be really disrespectful the chef.
