He wants me to wrap up some BIA briefs before I leave however I’m reviewing the record for a lot these and I’m seeing that a lot of the arguments for Asylum, Withhold, and CAT are incomplete. At the end of the form it’s asking to upload any documents/evidence. How important is it uploading documents and what exactly is preferable to upload? So I just had a client tell me their asylum case is fabricated, and can't I help prepare the person for court. My initial reaction, fire the client. I'm not that kind of atty. But I hear so many talk about finding a balance and not turning ppl away bc ultimately they need a defense and who knows what will come up along the way. How would you handle? How do you find the balance btwn not turning clients away but not being unethical?
