I was anticipating promotion but no communication from my RL yet. So my question is, if I drop resignation now, are there any chances I can negotiate for a promotion or at least a 20% salary hike if i bring an outside offer? Does Pwc match salary from outside offers?

What’s the hourly pay for others as a quality transaction specialist? I’m at $19.18 and feel it’s low for the inflation rate. HR and leadership refuse to give the salary range definitions and will say if I’m either in the low or median range of pay.

Worked so hard to get a tech exit with reasonable comp, but now that I got it, it feels weird to leave strat consulting. Consulting pays more in the longer term with much faster progression, but once in tech always in tech, more meaningful S&O work and better wlb (hopefully??)

So I recently accepted a 12 month contract-hire position at a much larger company. Pay is more than 50% of my salary, and benefits/401k is covered by the recruiting agency. Experience sharing on calories deficit -
I have a normal body build but want to lose a few pounds(especially around my belly). I am making visible progress now by eating less(work gets busy and I use that to forget about hunger), a lot of walking, have casein protein to feel less hungry. Diet is really what do the trick.
But there are drawbacks too - my energy level(especially around night time) drop significantly that the level of exercise I used to do feels hard (light/mid intensity)
