Curious as to how many deals at once is typical for a first year associate to take on (M&A, mostly private equity clients). Deal size is lower middle market and I’ve worked on deals ranging from $1-$110M. 2 deals at once is plenty for me, but it seems like my peers are able to take on more than that at once and still do fine. I have joined a company on 4th Feb, through consultancy on contract to hire basis.
I only received the job offer letter from the consultancy, but no Appointment Letter is given yet.
So since it's 10-15 day, since I joined. Can I leave this company, since I've got a better offer, with my suitable location.

Changing addresses sucks, why doesn't the U.S. implement a personal "code" based address system?

Meaning if my address code is "A123" then all I need to provide to my bank/employer/friend is my code and if the bank/employer/friend mails something to "A123" it would always come to my most up to date mailing address even if I relocate.
