Received a job offer. Was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on a concern I had about it. It's an entry level position, and I don't have much experience. The billables are 2040 a year. For billable hours in civil litigation and insurance defense, is 2040 hours for a 1st year associate on the high end in this field for a small or midsize firm? It seems like most attorneys I know have minimum requirements of around 1800. The compensation is around 80k a year.

I am almost 23 and don’t know much about the investment and savings vehicles/strategies that I should be using. While we are all happy taking multiple offers and joining the company that gives highest pay. Quality of work type of project product vs project etc. have taken back seat. Even the recruiters don't give a complete picture. A guy who might be doing development in Java may landup in a project that has only devops requirements. When asked about this they say go through udemy courses. Please be aware as these practices are very prevalant and might hurt your future prospects.
