Hi folks, i am a lead con with over 20 yoe (around 7 yrs in TW) and my ctc is 64 lpa. Everytime i talk to the management, they tell me that i am already above the range what TW pays to lead cons. Want to check how honest is that confirmation from the management ? Also, compared to the industry in general, is my salary around the standard or far off. The number of the alumni and current students that go to top consulting firms FT& summer intern are countless even for a small class size.
Stern is way more than a finance school. Given its location, do you want to spend your 2 years in a rural area or heart of Manhattan? Location is almost everything for business school. (I have a friend in Cornell that frequently travels about 5 hours to NYC for events.)

Curious here - my buddy just became a “Director” of Business Development in a LCOL area for a professional sports team. He likes to brag about how much he makes but I don’t really buy it. Obviously it’s subjective depending who you ask. Also, “director” gets thrown around willy nilly now. Any idea what someone like this makes? Seems like a couple years ago he was just selling tickets which kind of sell themself. Wondering if I should go do something similar since I’m sales oriented lol.

I recently joined TW some months back and I dont know why I think have made a wrong choice for myself. I am feeling like I am lost. I am not able to fit in in this high expectations environment. I am used to working in a place where we always worked by taking help from others and here it is sort of assumed that we would be knowing everything right from day 1. Also there is no pairing in my project. Any suggestions on what should be done would be welcome.
