I’m 18 weeks and I recommend getting a seat cushion to sit on for your chair vs getting a new chair. I linked one similar to the one I have below. It definitely helps alleviate the pressure on my back. I also am going to PT to build up my strength as I assume my back will get worse throughout the pregnancy. I highly recommend this if you’re considering it! https://www.everlastingcomfort.net/products/seat-cushion-back-cushion-gel-infused?variant=19841107722343¤cy=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIzb6Q_9bC8AIVJgaICR1_zwBrEAQYAyABEgKdJvD_BwE
Thanks! Definitely will consider this once I get my self a real chair. My kneeling chair has been helping me with my back pain and posture prior to pregnancy. Now it is just too much for my legs to handle the pressure.
Standing up helped me. I also used a birth ball. Sometimes I also worked in the recliner in baby’s room. Basically for me, switching positions was most helpful.
Haha that’s what I’m doing right now, but it seems to be just a trade off between leg pain vs tailbone pain vs back pain.
It’s quite expensive, but the SpinaliS chair is incredible - it is like sitting on a ball but has all the extra support you need from a chair (i.e. back and arms). They’re not cheap, but so worth it - I have one in the office and one whilst working from home because I was getting back/leg pain even before I was pregnant but this solved it.
Thanks! Checking it out now!
