Real Talk: everyone complains about how many apps they send in and how many interviews don’t pan out in product. I just landed my 2nd product role in 2 years with pretty minimal interviewing. I wasn’t interviewing with or looking for a role at a FAANG or the latest greatest almost unicorn but I know what I want. 2.5 YOE w/ CPA, just got offered for 95+5 in HCOL. Underpaid?

Currently working at an insurtech as a Strategy Associate and was offered a position on the IT team by a SVP. The position comes with a decent pay raise, but my title would be Business Analyst. I brought up concerns about the title being perceived to be more junior than an Associate, but was told that it’s more akin to a Project Coordinator/Product Owner (company does not offer those titles). I want to show counter offer of 20 lpa to LTI and ask for 20% hike that is 24 lpa. Will LTI give that kind of hike ? Please share your advice on this. and also which company to join.
