I’m approaching YE compensation discussions and was curious to see what folks/the industry are paying for institutional middle-market sales/distribution/business-development roles. I have 3yrs of experience with the same firm and am currently working as a sales analyst for the institutional sales team in NA. I have experience with traditional long only solutions, real estate (primarily value add funds), and a sector specific hedge fund. Any and all feedback is welcome!

4.5 YOE. s3 advisory looking to move to Finance or stay in advisory. Offer in Valuation as a second year analyst (85K). or just go to business transformation consulting at $105K. i hate leaving money on the table but i really like valuation. how much of a mistake is this.

Today i got my variable bonus of 10k, i get 59k inhand every month in which 2k gets deducted as tax, today along with the bonus of 10k I got 67k inhand and tax deducted is 4.5k. I'm kinda lost. Can someone pls explain y this?

I work 2 part-time jobs. I just requested a pay raise at my ABA job which they approved on by 10%. My other job is in Mental Health has a flat rate with no chance to request a raise, turns out I'm not required to work the full 20hrs/Week meaning that when there's no work to complete I won't be getting paid. Folks, one doubt..... I was hired as a senior consultant in dec 2021. I did not nominated for grade change till now. Will they automatically consider me for grade change or do I have to expicitely talk about it with PC ? Also if grade is changed, how is the impact on salary considering the parity check ? Right now I am at 25 lakhs with 8.3 years of experience.
