Hi Folks, I am currently working in Deloitte Hyderabad looking for job opportunities in Kolkata location. Due to failed IJP attempts I am currently looking for opportunities outside Deloitte as well. Can anyone here please help me with it. I have a 8.5 yrs experience in accounting domain. Once i get offer letter I will be able to proceed with buyout if immediate/early joining is required.

How does your firm measure utilization? I work for a small boutique that defines it as utilization = number of billable hours/2,080 and full bonus payout occurs at 80% plus.

I'm an introverted person, like to keep to myself, focus on work, spend the rest of my time on family, gym etc. I've been told that I need to work on my communication and client relationship building skills. any books I can read? I don't follow pop. culture anymore, no longer actively follow team sports (but sporty myself) as I consider it bread and circus for the masses and don't rly enjoy work drinks... Am I doomed? Personally I am happy and love the work but fear for my career progression.

I had a discussion with the recruiter on 6th May and he agreed to send the revised offer letter, but I am still awaiting it. The recruiter is not receiving my calls, not replying to my sms and emails as well.
