I have joined thoughtworks in Oct 25 as a senior consultant Data engineer. The staffing team has tagged me to a project in December, the tech stack was not mentioned and December also passed by now when i got the details in Jan the tech stack is completely mismatching and this project is currently allocated until the end of March. I am struggling very much to cope up as the tech stack is completely different. I have asked for the roll off.. How does this impact, will they agree?

I’ve been a freelance print production designer for many years, and usually on-site in the before times. Now I work remote, and am finding it uneasy dealing with billing. Before I always billed hourly, which made sense, but it’s becoming an issue now. Some companies don’t have a full days’ work, so it seems wrong to bill full days, and it allows me to juggle projects for different companies, but my billable hours are down. I know I should bill a daily rate, but not sure that will fly. Thoughts?

Hi Fieshes, i don’t want to leave development but the job roles I’m getting now after i resigned are the business analyst roles and not the data science ones as i thought of them to be. .
