Hi Folks, I have worked in only startups and have 8 years of total work experience and 4 years as a Prod Mgr in ERP based SaaS. I got laid off last year and after a long break recently got an offer from Ford as a TPM to work in dev experience. The role is exciting and I don't have any offers so tempted to accept it. Before becoming PM I was into software development. What is the general reputation of PMs from Ford in Job market and what kind of opportunities do they find once they leave Ford?

Working Moms/Dads: Do in-house positions exist with flex time hours? I need to be able to leave work at 4pm to pick up my son from daycare, but i can get back online at home to resume any unfinished work at 8pm. Is this realistic to convey to any companies in an interview? Pandemic aside, is face time 9-7pm really important? Or should i just try to find a job with a salary that covers a nanny salary and accept that i will never see my son on weekdays (which would be sad for both of us)? TIA!

What is annual salary increase for SA at Alvarez and Marsal? I applied for director role but offered SA since I have extensive industry experience but no prior consulting. I was offered additional compensation paid out over first year but concerned the annual increase will be less than the first year additional pay.
