Pros and cons of moving to wealth management under someone like Morgan Stanley? I’ve got about $300K in non 401K equities, mostly VOO, but a lot of individual positions as well, and have always enjoyed managing my money. But curious about perks like free Amex platinum and enticed about the idea of spending less time managing myself.

I applied for a position through a recruiter and made it through the interview rounds with the actual company and received a verbal offer, but haven’t heard back since. Am I able to reach out directly to HR for updates or does all communication have to be filtered through the recruiter?

What can I expect if I jump ship as a first year manager?

Anyone else having trouble finding free fraud based CPE trainings? My job does not pay for these things so I wasnt sure if anyone else had a solution or source. I need 4 more hours of fraud based CPE and havent found much on ACFE or AICPA that I can use. Ive joined a local CFE chapter but not much is going on with it.

What are the cheapest study materials to study for the CFE? I didn’t want to pay out 1k+ for the prep course from ACFE.

One of my closest friends have become so incredibly negative and self obsessed with her petty problems lately. I feel like all I do everyday is listen to her whine and complain! I’ve been trying to be supportive but at the same time I’m making positive changes in my own life and in my own mindset. That was 20 days ago and it’s been complete silence, no interview scheduled and no feedback. Is that normal? What should I think/do?
