Hi, I had very little work before I resigned, but ever since I submitted my notice, my manager has been assigning me a heavy workload. It feels like the goal is to get as much work as possible from me before my LWD.

The main reason I'm leaving is my manager—not the company. I genuinely like working at BNP Paribas and would love to return in the future if I get an opportunity in a different team.

How would you handle this situation during the notice period?

Aside from just time and experience, is there anything I can actively do to advance in my career and get more responsibility / client interaction? I’m a first year

I have been at my current firm for about 1.5 years, and in that entire time the partner in my group hasn't been out of the office a single time. Is that normal? Anyone living close to an office, got a holiday party with food and drinks, and the venue started open for them until around midnight. Our remote workers got a one hour party w a DJ and trivia that let you win gift cards. Yeah it was nice to win a gift card but I found it lame in comparison to hanging out with my team in real life.
