Hi, I recently resigned from my position as a Human Resource professional. During my time in the role, I consistently delivered my best performance; however, the scope of responsibilities often extended beyond my core job description.

I’m now open to new opportunities that offer clearer role alignment and a more structured working environment.

I have seen this happen a lot. When the role keeps expanding beyond what was agreed, it wears people down. I think leaving is sometimes the only way to protect your boundaries.

I’ve worked in sales for 12 years (8 years retail sales and management, 4 years inside tech sales and management). I’m feeling the burn and looking for something else in the tech field. I’m making $140k. I have a college degree but no marketing, engineering, or product experience. What other departments/jobs could I jump to and still keep close to my OTE? I’m pretty good at Salesforce and have thought about a SFDC admin type role, but that’s all I’ve thought of so far.

“Keep costs down”???? I am happy to keep costs down by not working on this ducking matter anymore. Maybe stop saying yes to matters that are too small to justify our rates and staffing an expensive senior person on them when you’re already dying trying to get anything staffed. You didn’t have to do shit on this matter, didn’t hear you complaining about my taking the lead and managing everything for you when that was happening. >.>
