How long does it take EY GDS to hire? I've applied for some positions (bcom fresher) on June last week. I’ve come to a point where I just started at the green dot on my laptop camera when talking. I want to do the Errol Morris interrotron to get some sort of connection. Quick PSA: one of the perks of going in-house, is that you’re no longer at an ad agency and all that that entails.

Just started a new in-house tech fl gig and it’s giving me whiplash! Somehow this dept has brought every person/toxic behavior from their old agency just to a new environment. Nowhere is perfect but good god. I honestly think companies/HR could learn a lot about their depts from freelancers.

Anyone have any advice on who to contact for merch/apparel related gigs? Preferably in the music or sports industry. Recommendations for agencies that focus on this are also greatly appreciated!

Is LA the worst right now or am I just the worst?

Is booking 40hrs a week freelancing for one company a good idea? Or does that seem like you don’t have anything else going on? I would like a good work life balance with the ability to take off weeks at a time in the middle of all this.

Hey fish - been seeing the talk about calculating day rates. Who here does the annual x 125 for day rate? If not, how do you calculate yours? Also - is the standard time expectation as many hours as it takes to meet the goal that day and are meetings lumped in, or do you do 8 hrs? (new to this)
