Quick PSA: one of the perks of going in-house, is that you’re no longer at an ad agency and all that that entails.

Just started a new in-house tech fl gig and it’s giving me whiplash! Somehow this dept has brought every person/toxic behavior from their old agency just to a new environment. Nowhere is perfect but good god. I honestly think companies/HR could learn a lot about their depts from freelancers.

Just here to say I’m so thankful we have this safe space. People who aren’t diagnosed generally have misconceptions about ADHD and its symptoms, and I’m so grateful we have this bowl to seek help, learn from one another, and sometimes just vent! Is booking 40hrs a week freelancing for one company a good idea? Or does that seem like you don’t have anything else going on? I would like a good work life balance with the ability to take off weeks at a time in the middle of all this.

Clauses to add to my next freelance contract when working on a day rate??

Massachusetts freelance but go to NY/travel for work occasionally. I am looking at marketplace insurance and leaning towards a Tufts plan. Anyone have problems with Tufts? The BCBS higher cost but there does not appear to be a good reason. I’m afraid of some of the smaller places/never heard of. Transitioning off Cobra with United Health. Anyone have advice?
