Hi. I was hired by ValueLabs for a finance role. The client never hired for a finance role before that. So I worked for 8 months w/o a team. I got good ratings during appraisals. Suddenly the client said I’m no longer required because they have a finance team now. The manager & HR both assured I would find a project during the 3 month bench period, but I’m worried. Is ValueLabs known to fire employees or would I find a project??

Out of curiosity and to test the market, I interviewed at a FAANG. Did not get the job, but found out TC was 350k, significantly higher than my TC 230k.
