Well, we aren’t in that area and we don’t do hospitality. So I’m not sure why I got a notification. Good luck to you though.
You can go in and leave an application but most places will tell you to apply online, not sure about hospitality but definitely retail. A lot of businesses want you to do some sort of testing and for that you will need to apply online.
I believe that in person is better.
Whew, 1st off, I regret ever taking a gap year--I should've stayed in school mode. But yes, you will get more opportunities by approaching a business IN-PERSON!! I went the restaurant route, it's easy and quick, good money!! I'm not really sure about the retail route, but keep your head up and add some confidence to get your NEW JOB!! 😉
instead of applying somewhere like indeed apply on companies websites, or print a few copies of your cv and take them into places that you like the look of
