About me - lead Digital Growth for the US for a D2C wine company. Previously spent 5 years in consulting doing digital and customer strategy.

Do any consultants here use SQL frequently? If so, how did you learn it?

Is there any profile which is based on purely SQL and nothing else, no excel/tableau/powerbi task.

What can I do outside the office to boost my resume and be a substantially more attractive candidate for top consulting firms in ~12 months time. Working in disputes and valuation role but want to go into management consulting next year (post MBA role). I feel like my job isn’t enough because skills aren’t considered as transferable outside this field.

I will be interviewing for Sr. Engineering Manager position at BCG DV. I am happy at pwc but wanted to know is it worth switching to BCG DV work and compensation wise? (Accordingly will prepare :) ) Currently Sr. Manager at pwc .
