- if a high skilled European national (without work permit in Canada) is offered a generalist role with a large consulting firm, bank or similar....

.....would the firm do an LMIA to allow the candidate to apply for a work permit and start the role?

Would you be bothered if a colleague (peer or subordinate) went on vacation to the Caribbean for Thanksgiving, then decided to stay there and work remotely while his wife continued to vacation for another 2 weeks?
