I don't think there are that many good industry metrics tbh! I feel like a lot of that might be proprietary or behind paywalls?

P&C Specialist is a great source for industry news

I haven't ever heard of this. I am going to have to look this one up.

S&P global market intelligence. It has everything you want.

Is there a straight forward way to gain access to that or does your company have to provide you access?

That’s a great question I have been exploring myself. Insurancexdate.com has a lot of info you mentioned that has some free content. Other than that, Verisk is a nice product (pricey!). I have been trying to navigate SERFF and NAIC, but with no luck. Vertafore has a product, RiskMatch, which aggregates all AMS360 data. Looks to be a very valuable, useful product. But again, comes with a price tag!

I am working in the Program/Product development space and NEED this myself!!

S&P Global Anyone here work at S&P Global? I’m a project manager who has been with the company for a few years. I’m feeling a bit overworked at this point and don’t want to have my expectations higher than what is reasonable, but also feel like I’ll need a large-ish chunk of cash to feel better about how much I’m working. Hi everyone,

I wanted to leverage the hive mind in finding out how best to negotiate a verbal offer for a 100%-remote Product Manager role in NYC, with a IT infrastructure/digital services firm (MNC but non-American):

Base salary: 120k

Sign-on bonus:10k

Bonus: 15%

No stock options

How competitive is this, and what should I negotiate for please? The written offer comes after verbal agreement.

I've 10 YOE in tech project management; 7 in product management.

Industry vets - in your experience how recession proof is insurance? I was not yet in the job market last recession but I watched my mom get laid off and struggle to find employment during that time for the next 1.5 years. I was wanting to hit the job market towards the end of this year, but now I worry that if I do move companies, the recession could put me in position of last one hired first one fired. Is it better to stay put?

I’ve been working for my State Farm agency as a team member for 2 years. I am licensed in property and casualty as well as life and health, but only make $13 an hour. I technically can make bonuses but I’m not supposed to dig into a sale and I have to send it to a sales rep (I am service and retention mostly). My boss also has me running a retired agents office until a new one is chosen (its an hour away with no pay increase or mileage pay). Also, no benefits! Should I start job searching?

My dilemma… I am an injury adjuster at a carrier experiencing high inventory that’s barely manageable. A competitor offered a higher salary and manageable workload. BUT, I would like to get into underwriting. I applied for UW position w/ a different carrier and they’ve made an offer. It’s lower than my current salary and significantly lower than what I’d make by taking the first offer. Do I take the high salary and stay in claims or go for UW in hopes it will be best in long run?
