Hi Fishes,
Can anyone tell me how many rounds of interview are there in JPMorgan Chase & Co?
I had only 1 round as of now, it was with the Process head VP along with the person I will be reporting (if got selected)
It's been almost 4 days since I had that interview; however, no feedback has been shared with me.
I can see that my profile/application is under review for basic requirements.
Should I consider my profile as reject?
Any thoughts/guidance would be highly appreciated.
Thank you
Job-Hunting reach-out to VC from previous fundraising effort for own startup
I have e-mail archive from 1y ago of my reach-out to 65 VCs in London: we had video calls, they might remember me still, who knows.
I want to send a reply/forward message to the same e-mail thread from abc@gmail.com, saying that I am looking for roles within their VC firm. Is that a good idea?
Or shall I just start new email thread and mention how I know them?

Look up Madeline Macho on LinkedIn she does this.
I mean Madelyn Macho
I can’t see why it would be illegal
Second the Madeline Macho person 👆 She’ll fix you resume, apply for jobs for you, and prep you for interviews, so all you have to do is show up. If I had the $$ then I’d definitely hire her 😭
I checked her out! Looks great tho. But I am thinking after paying if I don't get a job I am at a loss. I wonder how much is her success rate
Been there, done that. Not every company is willing to do it, and it wouldn’t be a W2 since it’d be a contractor form for your LLC and not you (can’t remember the form, but it’s like a 1099 but for your company). Your best bet is work as a consultant for smaller companies selling your service through your LLC (nothing fancy, just a basic website and email address). Once you get 1-2 clients, build a relationship, then one of them might hire you for the equivalent of full time (40hr/week) on a 1-yr contract or something. Just remember you might have to eat the taxes, so if you sell your services @40hrs/wk and get paid monthly, make sure you make clear if you’re charging taxes (based on your service and state), or fiving them a flat rate (easier for them) and eat the transfer/payment fees (if using Stripe/Paypal or wite transfer fees) and be responsible for your business’ taxes. Then remember not to pay yourself through your business if you don’t have a work permit, you need to figure out another way to extract the money from your business (pay expenses, certain bills, etc).
That’s not illegal at all
Come try applying for Capital One! They do offer sponsorships for some positions as well as the ability to be a contractor. I don’t need you to pay me, but I would appreciate if you use my referral link so I can get a finders fee from the company if you were to be accepted/accept the job
