Beginning to consider going in house (4th, corp) - I really haven’t thought about what I want, partly because I’m not sure what’s out there/attainable. Is it a bad idea to start by applying to a couple positions that interest me and seeing where that gets me? I’ll of course prep for the interviews but am afraid to burn potential bridges if I ultimately decline because I’m still figuring things out.

Over the last couple of months I’ve interviewed for a number of jobs and made it to second and third round interviews but never got an offer. My last interview was on Monday and I got feedback that I did not get selected because it did not seem like I was a a team player. Ive got three interviews coming up and l am wondering how I can improve my chances of getting an offer. Any ideas are welcome. I need a new job like yesterday.

I need some insight. Just had a phone interview for a management job in healthcare. I felt comfortable and felt like the interview went well. I ask questions and the ACNO said that I asked great questions. They said that they had other interviews to do as well but said the next step is to bring me in for an on-site interview (I live 1,000 miles away) and that the recruiter would be reaching out. Thoughts? I’m going to drive myself crazy analyzing everything.

The role is definitely a step up in terms of responsibilities from my current role as a senior consultant. Has anyone had any experience with Water Street Partners for lateral recruiting? Reached out to me cold with a few ideas and I’ve had two follow up emails and a call with an MD at reputable banks, but it all seems very sketchy. For instance an “HR Specialist” reached out to me to set up a call, but when I look her up on LinkedIn she’s a IB VP. As of late, my work related anxiety has reached new levels and it’s really starting to affect me mentally. At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. Just say NO, Sorry your skills are not a match, don't ignore. You were also candidates once.

Worse they say We'll check or get back to you. But never come back. Luckily I got selected into a tier-1 company and their Recruiter ignored me once 😂. I am gonna personally meet that recruiter on Day1.

The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada).
