What is the best way to reach out to the attorney in charge of recruitment even when there are no posting available that fit your qualifications — but you still want them to keep you in mind?

Long post alert; I have been interviewing with a b4 for a senior con role since Mar end. Cleared all the rounds including case study and got strong rating as well as good feedback. Fast forward to last week, the talent POC calls me up and informs that she has asked the business if the position is still open, because now they just need the business approval to roll out the offer. I immediately felt demotivated as to ‘why now’ after all rounds have been cleared (continued in the comment below)

Whats’s the ideal CV length for UK mid-level roles (4-5 YoE) to engage recruiters?

Is 1 page containing punchy & concise XYZ points preferred in the UK over 2 pages inc. a bit more details of projects/ tasks?

When discussing a first technical interview with a recruiter how much time do you ask them to give you for preparing for the interview?

Has anyone tried out faking a language or framework on your resume and making it through without having much knowledge in it , did it work out ? Can it work out as I think languages are not that difficult to pick up if you know some other programming languages really well.Thoughts ?

I got interviewed at infosys two days back.
When can I expect to hear back from them.
Also all the questions that were asked to me were written coding questions(Write block of code) none were verbal.I could write all answers but none was 100% correct.

At last I asked the interviewer about feedback as in where was I wrong. He said at couple of places and he explained me where was I wrong.

Do you all think I will be rejected?

What's the point of asking to write code in an interview, if all we do is search in google or stack over flow. 🤔

Guys I need some help:

Yesterday in the middle of a horrible hangover.. someone’s unit decided to flood and caused some damaged to mine. With that being said with little to no explanation 5 dudes kept coming in and out of my apartment. The results being them leaving 3 fans and awful smell to my apartment.

My uncle I met a week ago suddenly died. He hid his heart condition from his wife, my aunt. He was having tea in the morning when he had a stroke. She did not have a last word or consider the possibility that he’d pass away so suddenly and soon. She is beating herself up over how he left and they didn’t have a chance to talk that morning. May be a bit niche but: expected salary for product engineering and development manager at Deloitte? 13YOE as a mechanical engineer, currently principal engineer of a global product line. (This is for my husband, not me. Ignore the title/name.)

Experience sharing on calories deficit -
I have a normal body build but want to lose a few pounds(especially around my belly). I am making visible progress now by eating less(work gets busy and I use that to forget about hunger), a lot of walking, have casein protein to feel less hungry. Diet is really what do the trick.
But there are drawbacks too - my energy level(especially around night time) drop significantly that the level of exercise I used to do feels hard (light/mid intensity)

Why can't a placement agent combine or integrate the offering of interests in the sponsor's fund with the contemporaneous offering of interests in another fund? How often and how do you exercise?

I run 4x4 intervals on a treadmill every 2-3 days, and pushups/hangups/crunches about the same, but somewhat more infrequently. Great exercises to do with little time. In winter I go XC skiing upstate at our cabin every two weekends or so.

People who were lateraling without being on track for hours and seeking the year and bonus with the new firm, did the question of hours come up and how did you handle it during interviews to make sure you got the bonus from new firm?
