But remember there is no bill year and the Labour Party are totally incapable of making any difficult and necessary decisions. If a single person tells them a sob story about this they will immediately cave in so I wouldn’t worry about.

Under new proposal, one will have to earn settlement and there are various contribution models proposed. One of them is based on salary, If one has £50k+ salary for last 3 years before applying ILR then ILR can be applied after 5 years

The worst part is - they are separating dependents from main applicants.
It is not valid for existing immigrants right? It is only valid for new migrants. I guess you should be on your route to ILR

M1: unlike reform, Labour do not plan to remove settled statues for those that already have it, but they do intend to extend ILR term. This will vary based on earnings and benefits claims.
