How are you all making sure your risk assessment processes are up-to-date ?

Start with making sure the policy is up to date

What are the risks /wcgw to make it out of date? Once you identify those things, build steps into your SOP to make sure you are unlikely to miss things when updating. I. E., risk that new business unit is established but not included in RA. SOP, review financial filings and inquire of management of any new business units acquired or planned in xx months.

If you can afford engaging an advisory firm to help I would. They can even discuss with stakeholders one on one to make sure they agree with your RA.

I countered with a recruiter and they responded to my concerns and questions with “don’t worry about PTO days, I don’t even take them”, “you’re focused on the wrong things” (when speaking about health insurance costs), “I can’t see them going for that (my counter), let me see your experience again, 10 years hm”, “it’s really not an apples to apples comparison, this is a really good offer, don’t focus on that other stuff”. Don’t do this! I was leaning towards taking the job and now I may pass.

I had been kicking myself because I turned down a couple offers late last year and things had dried up this year. The two industries: food service and travel. That might have worked out after all 😂
