How did / do you continue to stay motivated to interview

I am an email marketing specialist. I am approaching my one year at my new job. I have been going above & beyond. I have been recognized by my boss that I have been doing great as well. I have been implementing new strategies, completing all assignments on time, and I do the most in all of our meetings, interviews and business events. How much can I ask for a raise?

I was promised a promotion, then was told I wasn’t getting promoted, started applying to other places, fought for it and ended up getting promoted and a raise. I was just offered a job at another agency for $15k higher than the raise I just got. My mom was just diagnosed with cancer and was told to stop working so now I have to cover all of her expenses as well as mine and my husband’s (he’s back in school). When a recruiter tells you the salary range in the first interview, is that firm? Is there typically room to negotiate above this if you're chosen?

After rejecting big companies like Infosys,Wipro, etc. I've joined EPAM Anywhere due to wfh permanently and it's perks. Interviewed with Chicago court 2 weeks ago; they decide mid-August. Interviewed with DC judge last week; hear from him by this Friday. Chicago said if I need an answer before August, they'd try to make a decision about me sooner.
Should I ask Chicago for an answer? Or should I wait until there's an offer from DC judge? Maybe seems better to withdraw before an offer is made rather than ask for time to think about it/turn down DC? What's proper etiquette?
