The insurance company I work for outsourced a huge majority of my work to a third party, ontellus 🤮. I am not longer able to bill for NPNP, SDT and CNOS. I received 5 separate NPNPs from ontellus that either had the incorrect case style, signature block or date. I also sent out an email today after the 5th incorrect NPNP that started with “I am honestly starting to feel like I am on the show Punk’d and waiting for Ashton Kutcher to pop into my office” continued in comments..

Hello,

I am a 3rd year insurance defense attorney with product and premise liability experience. Due to long-COVID, I am likely to lose my job.

The plan is to find a government position that would involve more substantive litigation and trial work, then leverage that into the private sector a few years down the line.

Any advice would be appreciated regarding networking, where to start, etc. Thank you.

Any United health group remote employees here? I recently accepted an accounting job and some of the onboard makes it seem like I’m only allowed to work from my home office. Anyone buying in Manhattan/Brooklyn and understand the broker game? I have a good real estate agent with a company from Ravies, but it seems other brokers give her the run around. For example there is place I wanted to see and the selling broker (cocoran) told her they are only showing to all cash clients. So I emailed the broker on street easy and went to see the property alone and they didn’t mention any all cash requirement.

Is anyone else concerned about the direction the automotive world is heading in, and the overall bigger impact to society when no one can afford to own/have a car? OK gonna maybe open a can of worms here but I have to ask: it seems the sudden inflation we're seeing has taken the ins. ind. by surprise. The cost/expense projections done X yrs. ago for this and poss'y subsequent yrs. have been thrown off. Costs to repair/replace cars have shot up unexpectedly. Same for houses. Med costs have all gone up. Ins. cos. have relatively thin profit margins to begin with. There's talk of cost-cutting measures-- incl. layoffs. How realistic are these concerns?
