How big a personal liability umbrella do you carry? I’m going up to a $5M umbrella and wondering if that’s enough. My personal insurance company won’t write for more than $3 and I really don’t want to move all my insurance (I’m in a high fire risk area and afraid to change and then get cancelled). Do you have any suggestions for a company that writes large value umbrella policies without requiring you to also have all the rest of your insurance there?

Public sites like Glassdoor are essentially useless for these roles and WSO seems to focus only on comp for client facing roles like IB, T&S, etc

We were forced to take 6 days leave in April (bovenwettelijk) which was kind of a weird move. I don’t think our bonuses are getting cut this year so if it’s my bonus or 6 days leave I’d gladly take the latter.

Recent lateral (6ish months). On pace for 2000. Partners keep asking me if I’m liking the quality/type of work I’m getting and telling me to let them know if I feel overwhelmed by my (very manageable) workload.
