I need a job so bad that I job hunt on the weekend too. If I try to do anything else the fact that I need a job is just looming over me. I don't really take as many breaks from applying as I should.
Necessary evil. There aren't enough hours in the day during the work week. I've been trying to wake up early to knock out a few applications in the morning before giving myself the rest of the day off.

I think that you should pace yourself. Don’t search without breaks. That will just leave you with poor health. Take a break, walk outside, enjoy the day. Once you get a job, you lose all that haha
I don't think there's anything wrong with it, personally. As long as the applications get sent, they will review them when they want to. Plus, sometimes I get a weird burst of inspiration on the weekend and want to send out as many apps as I can. M-F is good but job searching is lawless haha.
Really depends on the situation. Currently unemployed, and I haven't applied to jobs on the weekends. I kind of feel like no matter how much work I put in to finding jobs I'm interested in/am qualified for, extra work on the weekend won't make them respond any faster. I like to leave the weekends to just relax and recharge
Considering that most applications are typically a 20-30 minute process plus the time spent actually reading the job description, tweaking a resume and creating a solid, ‘job description friendly’ cover letter, I find weekend applications to be a total necessity. Then add the monitoring of email and text messages and any phone calls. Now start again with a continued search. I absolutely have less mental clarity and energy to focus clearly to not utilize the weekends. Application burn out is real!
Still have to do something on the weekend, but trying not to make it the whole day. Decide on what I want to do, and after that, give myself a pat on the back and a break.
Unfortunately I’ve been looking on the weekends, I get alerts so I can view new opportunities as they are listed. I do try to limit my time on the weekends by focusing on other projects and spending it with love ones, it’s important to not get too consumed because it will impact your mental wellbeing for sure.
